Carve + Print Together: Grown-Up + Kid Workshop

Come make something together!

In this beginner-friendly workshop, one grown-up + one young maker will work as a team to design and carve their own set of stamps, then use them to print a tote bag and pencil pouch.

Each pair gets four 2" carving blocks to turn into their own stamps. Divide them up, work on them together, or create a coordinating set — then experiment with color, pattern and layout as you print your designs onto fabric.

No experience is needed. I'll walk you through the whole process, from simple stamp design and safe carving techniques to inking and printing.

Your registration includes:

• One grown-up + one child age 8+
• Four 2" carving blocks
• One tote bag
• One pencil pouch
• Use of carving tools, inks and all workshop materials
• Beginner-friendly instruction and plenty of help along the way

This one's for making together.

This is not a drop-off kids class — grown-ups are part of the fun! You'll be designing, carving and printing alongside your young maker.

Because we'll be working with real carving tools, grown-ups are active participants in this workshop. You'll carve your own stamps while helping your young maker learn to use the tools safely.

$95 includes both participants. Space is limited to just four pairs.

About your instructor: Wondering Time owner and teaching artist Camille Smicker has more than 25 years of experience teaching and leading creative workshops with kids and adults. She currently works as a substitute teacher in the North Penn School District and holds all required clearances for working with children.
