Carving is a skill that gets better with practice — and sometimes it's nice to create without worrying about a finished project.

Stamp Lab is a relaxed, open-studio style evening for experimenting, practicing, and making alongside other creative people. Bring your ideas, try new techniques, test out patterns and textures, or simply spend a couple of hours carving and printing in good company.

There are no assignments, no pressure, and no finished project required.

Whether you're continuing a project from a previous workshop or picking up a carving tool for the first time, you'll have access to tools, materials, and plenty of encouragement and inspiration.

Feel free to bring unfinished blocks or projects from previous workshops to continue working on.

• Building confidence with your tools
• Spending time with other creative people

Included with registration:

• One 4x6 carving block
• Use of carving tools, inks, and printing materials during class
• Scrap paper for experimentation and test prints
• Instruction, feedback, and creative support as needed

Additional carving blocks, cards, notebooks, tea towels, and other print surfaces will be available for purchase if inspiration strikes.

A minimum of 4 participants is required for the workshop to run.

Workshops are non-refundable. If you’re unable to attend, your payment may be applied toward a future workshop date if Wondering Time is notified at least 48 hours in advance.
