Summer Textiles: Stamp Carving + Printing

Spend a relaxed, creative summer evening at Wondering Time designing, carving, and printing your own custom textile.

In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll create your own stamp from start to finish, then use it to print a tea towel or tote bag you’ll actually use and love. You’ll learn simple stamp-carving and textile-printing techniques, experiment with layout and repetition, and leave with a one-of-a-kind design that is completely your own.

No experience is needed. Come solo or bring a friend and enjoy a welcoming, low-pressure evening of making something beautiful with your hands.

What You’ll Do

• Design and carve your own custom stamp

• Learn beginner-friendly stamp-carving and textile-printing techniques

• Experiment with placement, pattern, and repeat designs

• Print your design onto a tea towel or tote bag

• Leave with your hand-carved stamp and a finished custom textile

What’s Included

• One tea towel or tote bag to customize (or Apron - see note below)

• Carving block and use of all carving tools

• Textile ink and printing supplies

• Guided instruction and support throughout

• BYOB welcome

Aprons will also be available as an optional add-on purchase during the workshop, with pricing based on the apron style selected.

Your printed textile will be heat-set after the workshop and available for pickup approximately 48 hours later. Mailing is available for a small additional fee.

Participants under 18 must attend with a participating adult due to the use of carving tools.

A minimum of 4 participants is required for the workshop to run.

Workshops are non-refundable. If you’re unable to attend, your payment may be applied toward a future workshop date if Wondering Time is notified at least 48 hours in advance.
